Hegel Karbenn & Cie.: Positive Results at the End of the First Financial Year
18. February 2011
Minority interest of Vattenfall Europe AG in the hard coal-fired power plant Rostock and the Municipal Utilities Kassel AG sold. HKCF supported both transactions on the seller's side.
One year after taking up its business activities Hegel Karbenn & Cie. Corporate Finance can look back at successfully concluded transactions. With the sale of the minority interest of Vattenfall Europe AG in the hard coal-fired power plant Rostock and in the Municipal Utilities Kassel AG, HKCF successfully accompanied two important transactions as a consultant.
"We had very much looked forward to setting up a business of our own. The trust placed in us not only by existing but also by new clients more than vindicated our decision", says Managing Director Dr. Frank Karbenn. „But we also had a good financial start and hence we look into the year 2011 with a lot of confidence“, adds Michael Hegel, joint Managing Director.
In order to be in the position to continue to handle the growing business in a speedy and competent manner, the HKCF team took on further consultants as early as in August last year. For the first half of 2011 further projects, for instance from the area of renewable energies, have been targeted.
