E-world celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2020 and once again a varied program at the Congress and at the open forums will complement the numerous exhibitor activities. On four stages located in the exhibition halls, more than 150 speakers will address the visitors with informative lectures and exciting panel discussions. Thematically, the Energy Transition Forum will look, for example, at the future of e-mobility and the upcoming changes in the transportation sector, but also topics relating to smart cities, PPAs and intelligent networks will be addressed. Two further highlights of the supporting program are the Fibre Optics Forum, with in-depth discussions on the current opportunities and challenges of fibre optic expansion in Germany, and the "Forum Hydrogen - Solutions for the Energy Transition". For the first time, this special event will take place at E-world and will present the various approaches to hydrogen use and its potentials to accelerate the energy transition.
Furthermore, 14 conferences highlight various topics relating to the energy industry. In addition to classic industry topics and energy market trends, workshops on agile methods and digital transformation will also be offered this year. The supporting program is rounded off by established events such as the "24th Future Energies Congress" of the State of North Rhine-Westphalia and the "Energy Leadership Meeting".
