E-world 2022: three days full of exchange, inspiration & energy

28.06.2022

Successful E-world 2022 with strong feedback from exhibitors and visitors

From June 21 - 23, Europe's leading trade fair for the energy industry took place again in the halls of Messe Essen and the industry agrees: the long wait was worth it. Even in the run-up to the fair, there was great anticipation of the fair and of personal encounters on site. After all, there was plenty of need for discussion. 736 exhibitors from 27 nations came together at E-world 2022 to find answers to the urging questions of energy independence, climate change and the future of the energy industry. Given the current situation, topics such as diversification of supply sources and energy carriers, energy efficiency and electrification dominated the talks and debates. Visitors were able to discover what role hydrogen can and will play in the decarbonization of the industry and in mobility at the new hydrogen solutions joint stand, which now has a permanent home at E-world.

Topics such as the European PPA markets and corporate green PPAs attracted numerous interested parties to the presentations at the Trading Forum and gave rise to lively discussions. The panel discussion moderated by con|energy CEO Dr. Roman Dudenhausen with Bundesnetzagentur president Klaus Müller, EON board member Dr. Thomas König and Uniper board chairman Dr. Klaus-Dieter Maubach at the Infrastructure Forum was also unsurpassed in terms of topicality.

The positive response is also reflected in figures: with the usual high proportion of trade visitors of 99%, E-world achieved excellent visitor satisfaction of 96% and an intention to visit again of over 90%.

We would like to thank all exhibiting companies, visitors and speakers for their participation and a successful event.

We are already looking forward to next year's E-world: from May 23 - 25, 2023.
