The young company encentive specializes in consumption-side micro-flexibility, which is needed as an important milestone on the way to an emission-free energy system. Micro-flexibility is the term used for scalable energy quantities smaller than one megawatt. The encentive solution can be applied, for example, by operators of heat pumps or cooling systems, where a short-term adjustment of the amount of energy consumed does not affect the operation. In addition to supporting a sustainable energy system, this has the positive side effect that the operating costs for the system operator can be reduced by at least 10 percent.
The marketing of flexibilities by encentive is carried out by means of innovative AI algorithms developed for this use and using cloud technology. The encentive solution convinces with its modularity, which ensures a smooth integration into existing infrastructure and thus an efficient deployment. In addition to marketing, the service portfolio also includes the connection and aggregation of consumption-side flexibilities.
