The demand for digital customer solutions in the energy industry is growing enormously. The focus is particularly on IT platforms, applications and apps for the commodity and non-commodity business.
In the next few years, at least every second energy supplier will offer its customers products and services via digital channels. The digitalization of services and internal processes also plays a decisive role for cities on the way to becoming smart cities with growing technical and ecological requirements. The aim is to bundle diverse applications around the core topics of energy and mobility and thereby address all target groups. In the process, municipal utilities are developing into the managers of these smart cities.
Within the framework of a cooperation, the competencies of endios and the con|energy group are bundled in order to jointly create a basis for the ecosystem. This new platform will be called endios one. Based on a modern cloud architecture, endios one offers a powerful and flexible solution to map diverse applications from different providers uniformly and easily. The modular concept allows individual solutions tailored to the respective needs by using standardized modules. It thus ensures uniformity both at the customer interface and in the IT systems of the providers.
The cooperation of the two prominent app providers in the energy industry endios and energy app provider, as well as the platform providers enerXess and READDY form together a market leading cooperation network. "With our current portfolio in the field of energy and mobility, we are already successfully represented on the market. Together as a team we can now use synergies to position ourselves ideally in this growth market of smart cities", says Dr. Roman Dudenhausen, CEO of con|energy ag.
