E-world energy & water 2022: the industry meets face-to-face at the extensive conference and forum program at Messe Essen

A varied program focuses on climate neutrality and achieving climate targets
In line with the E-world leitmotif "Solutions for a sustainable future", the lecture program will focus on ways to a climate-neutral future for the energy industry. "Exhibitors from over 20 nations will present their innovations for a sustainable energy future at E-world," said E-world Managing Directors Stefanie Hamm and Sabina Großkreuz. "Especially in the wide-ranging conference and forum program, the speakers will set milestones by highlighting the industry's contributions to the realization of national and European climate goals."
Successful conference formats and current issues
The conference program includes topics such as the digitalization of energy supplier sales, electromobility, legal aspects of rolling out charging infrastructure, and business models for energy efficiency. It starts with the Leadership Meeting Energy on the day before the trade fair, February 7, 2022, where leading minds from the energy industry will discuss current issues facing the industry under the moderation of Benedikt Müller-Arnold from the SZ business editorial team.
How hydrogen can contribute to the energy transition will be explained in the forum of the same name on the second day of the trade fair. The expectations on the new German government to quickly create the necessary regulatory conditions are high. They will be in the focus as well as the production of hydrogen in Germany and the transport to and within Europe. Another event will address cooperation with the housing industry for a successful heat transition. A particularly relevant new business area for many municipalities and public utilities is the topic of fiber optics. The fiber optics forum on the second day of the trade show will present business models made possible by the new Telecommunications Act in this field. Program partners are BREKO, Micus Strategieberatung and Conenergy.
Informative input at forums directly in the exhibition halls
The forum program will take place on no less than three stages in the exhibition halls during E-world 2022. The focus topics here are Trading, Infrastructure and Costumer Solutions. Visitors to the trade fair will be able to find out about current issues in a straightforward manner and without having to buy an additional ticket. The program includes presentations by the industry associations Bitkom and VDE Verband der Elektrotechnik Elektronik Informationstechnik e.V. on network expansion and network resilience. The experts from Beenera were able to win Tesla Europe for a presentation on the topic of electromobility. The World Energy Council Germany will present trends in the international energy transition. Experts from the European Energy Exchange and the Federal Environment Agency will share their knowledge on sustainability in the stock market business.
The individual presentations and speakers will be published shortly. A teaser program will provide initial insights from the end of November. Interested trade visitors can get an overview and purchase their admission ticket with an early bird discount. Both trade fair and conferences and forums are planned under the highest hygienic measures in presence.
