Solution from Green Connector digitizes customer interface for STAWAG

With a white label solution from Green Connector, STAWAG, Stadtwerke Aachen AG, is driving forward the digitalization of its energy services business.

The online portal developed by conenergy's subsidiary Green Connector has been optimized for the specifics of non-commodity sales and creates a new digital customer interface for STAWAG. The online shop offers private and commercial customers advice in their search for suitable products as well as the opportunity to buy all products offered directly online. With this offer, which is marketed under the name Green Portal, Green Connector GmbH is expanding its portfolio beyond solutions in the field of electric mobility.

With the growing importance of climate protection for the energy sector, expectations are rising for municipal utilities to make concrete offers for the energy and mobility transition accessible to private customers as well. STAWAG has gradually expanded its energy-related services business in recent years via its shareholding in regio-energiegemeinschaft e.V. and its regional advisory center effeff.ac. Its portfolio now includes more than thirty energy-related services products for private customers, which STAWAG processes via a platform developed in-house. Moreover, STAWAG has opened an e-store in Aachen especially for consulting and product sales relating to mobility and charging infrastructure issues and offers. With the help of Green Portal, this is now being expanded to include a digital customer interface, thus enabling a complete customer journey online - from product overview to product details, advice, conclusion of contracts and processing.

Thanks to a clear presentation of all STAWAG products and services, the portal ensures a high level of transparency and simple processing for users. A digital assistant actively supports users in their search for suitable offers.
