The main themes of E-world energy & water 2020

14.06.2019

Climate protection and efficient solutions for urban areas continue to be the defining themes of the energy industry.

Being the leading energy trade fair, we would like to underline E-world energy & water’s commitment to a sustainable transformation of the energy industry with the alignment of the 2020 focal points.

Therefore, Smart City concepts and Climate Solutions will continue to play an important role next year. These include advanced applications in a holistic view, such as district solutions in cities or innovations for rural areas. Challenges of e-mobility, such as charging infrastructure and charging processes, radio technology for the networked city (Long Range Wide Area Network - LoRaWan) as the basis for the Internet of Things - and micro grids as a nearly autonomous energy network are part of this thematic block.

Another central question at the next E-world will be how the energy transition can be designed in the best possible way and how the goal of decarbonization can be achieved. In addition to the two main topics Smart City and Climate Solutions, the lecture and Congress program will focus on networks and network infrastructure. Topics such as decentralization, micro grids, broadband technology as an enabler for future technologies and network security are to be mentioned here.

Innovations in the energy sector and international exchange have always been aspects that characterize E-world. In 2020 the fair will again serve as a platform for young entrepreneurs and forward-looking concepts. As a meeting place for the European energy industry, we want to facilitate and promote international cooperation and mutual knowledge transfer. Would you like to work with us on the topics of E-world 2020? Submit your contribution as a speaker for the lecture program by August 31, 2019. Whether as an individual speaker, company or association - we look forward to your concepts! Further information on the Call for Papers can be found online.
