The far-reaching restructuring of the energy system requires new solutions in the digital change process that link new ideas and make business models stand out from the crowd. Creative approaches for more customer loyalty show, for example, from startups such as "Enyway", who combine direct marketing and block chain technology in the post-EEG age through their community approach, or "Sonnen GmbH", who turn customers into prosumers through storage technology.
The central idea behind these approaches is: the customer wants to participate. In the areas of smart meter/smart home, for example, the Berlin startup "Fresh Energy" wants to provide increased customer loyalty opportunities for energy suppliers and public utilities with its white label solution. The solution is intended to give customers transparency about their consumption values; energy companies could in turn create increased customer satisfaction. The idea can be useful above all due to process efficiency, know-how build-up and cost savings and not least for strengthening your own brand. "Meeting the challenges of digitization with the help of a white label solution can enable players in the energy market to react to customer needs and flexibly exploit new developments at their own pace," says Fabian Dawin, project manager of con|energy unternehmensberatung gmbh.
How exactly energy suppliers and municipal utilities can further develop their existing business and retain customers in the long term will be discussed at the "fresh&friends summit" of "Fresh Energy" on June 17 under the motto #DisruptingTheEnergySector. with experts from Amazon, GASAG, NEW Energie, innogy and Bosch and many more.
