The central idea behind these approaches is: the customer wants to participate. In the areas of smart meter/smart home, for example, the Berlin startup "Fresh Energy" wants to provide increased customer loyalty opportunities for energy suppliers and public utilities with its white label solution. The solution is intended to give customers transparency about their consumption values; energy companies could in turn create increased customer satisfaction. The idea can be useful above all due to process efficiency, know-how build-up and cost savings and not least for strengthening your own brand.
